Bobbi Jo Dillon Race Day
Little Bobbi Jo was diagnosed shortly after birth with Rett Syndrome, a neurological condition affecting speech, motor, and development. There is no cure. Her condition is progressively deteriorating and she is often plagued by ongoing medical complications. She needs 24-hour care and assistance.
Bobbi takes 11 different medications twice a day. Due to various infections, she is often hospitalised for extended periods of time, where she is fed via a Gastrostomy and Jejunostomy tube. Wiseberry Heritage Group & The Wiseberry Foundation hosted a Race Day on Thursday, 13th May 2021 at the Wyong Race Club to fundraise for a very special girl, Bobbi Jo. We managed to raise over $40,000 + on the day which is an amazing achievement! Thank you to Wiseberry and the local community for digging deep to help Bobbi Jo.
Central Coast Community News
Northern Power Cricket Clubs annual Pink Stumps Day was a huge success yet again this year! Cricket clubs, schools, businesses and members of the community came together wearing pink to raise funds for the McGrath Foundation. We had a great turn out and it was a cracker of a day raising money for the training and placement of breast cancer nurses around Australia. We’re pushing $20,000 in donations from this event. This Central Coast community achievement truly makes us Proud to be a Coastie!
